I am running for City Marshal because our community deserves an office rooted in both modern efficiency and real compassion. The Marshal’s office is often the face of the City Court during some of the most difficult moments in a person's life—whether we are serving legal notices, handling civil evictions, or maintaining order in the courtroom.
I refuse to let this office operate with a cold, heavy-handed mindset. We need a Marshal who brings modern tools to court operations, but never loses sight of the human element. Executing warrants, securing our court, and serving legal process requires firm professionalism mixed with empathy for local families. My mission is to build an office that protects our people, respects our court, and treats every citizen like a neighbor.
Handling evictions, subpoenas, and court notices with human dignity. Instead of just dropping paperwork on someone's porch, my office will work to connect struggling residents with local support resources and community assistance programs whenever possible during tough transitions.
Upgrading process-serving technology and digital tracking to make court operations fast, transparent, and accurate. Modernizing these systems will keep Bunkie City Court secure and efficient while saving taxpayer dollars.
Creating safe, practical pathways for residents to clear up minor outstanding court matters or warrants before they turn into disruptive arrests. A caring office helps citizens resolve their legal obligations fairly so they can keep working and supporting their families.
